Computer Lagging When Playing Games and How to Fix Slow PC

Actually, PC lagging issue always happens unexpectedly on Windows 10/8/7 when playing games, watching videos, launching programs, etc. More seriously, the computer keeps freezing. How annoying it can be! Even, some users have reported to us new computer lagging and freezing or good computer lagging issue.

In a nutshell, PC or laptop lagging can manifest itself in different ways, including:

  1. Programs open slowly.
  2. Saving documents or converting files cost much time
  3. Windows opens very slowly
  4. Graphics flicker, stutter and frame rates drop
  5. The operating system takes a long time to load or shut down
  6. Games or applications stutter, flicker and delay
  7. Download/upload speed of internet connection decreases
  8. File writing errors pop up
  9. Windows error messages appear
  10. Printers or other peripherals connected to your computer refuse to function properly

1. CPU with Poor Performance

An old, overheated or not fast enough CPU can cause high CPU usage, which can result in lag or even lag spikes on your computer. To put it simply, the better the performance CPU has, the faster your PC runs.

To ensure that your computer CPU is running on full power, you need to make a CPU stress test (available for free for Intel CPUs) and monitor your AMD CPU via the System Monitor from AMD to see if your Processor is working as supposed. If it has poor performance, try to replace the old one.

2. Corrupted or Insufficient RAM

Corrupted or not sufficient RAM may have an influence on computer performance, let your computer restart randomly, cause a blue screen, etc. Besides, if RAM is broken or corrupted, the system memory cannot handle processes and services as needed. As a result, your computer is lagging.

In this case, try to replace the corrupted RAM or add more memory for your computer so as to get rid of lag on PC in Windows 10/8/7.

3. Old Graphics Card

If your computer lags when playing games, one of the main factors is the graphics card issue. For gaming experience, the graphics card is the most crucial part because both 3D graphics rendering and calculating in-game physics are done on the graphics card.

Playing games on computers with the low-level graphics card, your computer is very likely to lag. How to fix lag on PC games in Windows 10/8/7? If the current one is old, upgrade it now!

4. Windows Is Running on HDD

The speed of your hard drive determines loading times. If you are playing games on computers which are still using the traditional mechanical hard disk, your computer would lag especially even freeze when you are playing games fairly demanding for speed.

For this reason, we suggest upgrading HDD to SSD since Windows running on HDD is always slower than it running on SSD. If you configure SSD properly, it would dramatically speed up your gaming speed to solve computer lagging and freezing issue.

Upgrade HDD to SSD without Reinstalling OS

But how to do the upgrade? You can ask technicians for help, but it may cost extra money. Instead, you can upgrade HDD to SSD or migrate Windows 10/8/7 to SSD with professional hard drive cloning software. MiniTool Partition Wizard Free Edition can help you easily finish disk upgrade and system migration.

Its Migrate OS to HD/SSD feature can help you to move OS only to another disk or transfer the entire system disk. Besides, the Copy Disk is designed to clone the entire system disk or data disk to another hard drive.

To upgrade disk to SSD for fast speed to solve computer lagging Windows 10/8/7 issue, both of them can be used. Now, free download MiniTool Partition Wizard to have a try.

5. Hard Drive Is Damaged

If there is something wrong with your hard drive (especially the system disk), your computer may run very slowly even freeze and fail to start. How to get rid of lag on PC in Windows 10/8/7?

In this case, you can check your hard drive to see if computer lagging and freezing issue is caused by the logical or bad damage of the disk and then fix the errors or shield bad blocks.

To do this, open Command Prompt and use chkdsk.exe to check logical errors or physical damage. Just type the commands one by one: chkdsk x: /f or chkdsk x: /r (x means the drive letter you want to check).

In addition, the partition manager - MiniTool Partition Wizard can also help you to check & fix file system errors and test the disk bad sectors. Note that this tool can't fix the bad blocks if it finds them but only check and you can use chkdsk /r to shield them.

6. Operating System Isn't Maintained or Upgraded

If your operating system is not periodically maintained, properly configured or upgraded, there may be a number of programs and tools installed. As a result, your computer is lagging all of a sudden even if the computer is new or good.

How to stop lag on PC or how to fix a slow computer in Windows 10/8/7? Follow the methods below.

Way 1: Uninstall Unused Programs

When you purchase a new computer, it is likely that there are a load of programs pre-installed onto it. Over time, old PCs can simply accumulate these. However, most of those applications are not used ever, and even some can run in the background but you don't notice them.

Even if your computer has plenty of memory, running many programs at once can slow the PC down in the process and cause computer lagging.

Therefore, it is necessary to individually close these programs or open Task Manager to see what's currently running and end the processes from there.

Way 2: Clean Temporary Files

When using internet explorer, all the browsing history remains in the depths of your computer. In the same way, installing something or running the OS will generate some temporary files that are stored in the Windows Temp folder.

To free up space on the system to get rid of lag on PC, you can choose to delete those temporary files using Disk Cleanup.

7. Outdated Drivers

If the drivers are outdated, hardware or software issues often happen on Windows 10/8/7 computer. Most of the time, such issues will result in PC lagging problem. In most cases, you need to update drivers to reduce computer lag.

8. Internet Connection Issue

The internet becomes more and more important. However, weak signals, unstable lines, gateway or disconnection issues, low up and download speed always happen, which can cause a computer to be lagging.

This mainly happens when your OS is trying to update or send data to the data center and installed software is downloading or uploading data in the background.

In this case, you can use Windows Performance Monitor to learn some information about CPU, RAM and network issues. To do this, just type performance monitor in the Cortana search box of Windows 10 and click the result.

9. Your PC Is Infected with Virus

The computer may easily be infected with the virus even if you have installed an antivirus program in Windows 10/8/7. Today, virus and spyware or malware is a big cause of PC computer problems including computer lagging issue.

How to fix a slow computer or lagging PC? Right now, run the antivirus to full scan your computer and remove the virus. Then, check whether your computer is still lagging.

In addition, wrongly configured or low-quality firewalls may cause the computer to be lagging as well. If you suspect a security program to cause the lagging computer, try to temporarily turn off the firewall or virus/malware scanners and see if the lag is still present.

10. Insufficient or Malfunctioning Power Supply

In many cases, the insufficient or malfunctioning power supply may lead to your computer to be lagging. Ensure that there is enough power supplied for the CPU or graphics card. To fix the issue, you can contact the manufacturer and ask for help.

It’s Game Time: How to Fix the Gaming System Problems

Whether you’re a serious gamer or just a casual player, there’s nothing like getting lost in a good video game. There is also nothing quite like the frustration of trying to play your favorite game but halted by an issue with your gaming system. If your favorite gaming system is on the fritz but you’re not sure exactly what is wrong, check out these common gaming system issues and troubleshooting tips.

HDMI Port Issues

The HDMI port on a game console is the thick wire that connects the console to the TV so that you can see and hear the games you’re playing. This wire can come loose and cause signal loss, but the port itself can also be damaged over time. Here are some troubleshooting tips if you think your HDMI port is malfunctioning:

First, check to see that there is no visible damage done to your HDMI port. Replacing the HDMI port on the Xbox, Playstation and Nintendo Switch requires soldering experience that is best left up to repair professionals. If the port looks normal, you can try replacing the HDMI cable with a new one to ensure that it isn’t the cause of the malfunction. You should also check that the cable is inserted correctly on both ends and then power cycle your console to rule out a software issue.

Disc Drive Issues

Drive issues in gaming consoles are unique based on the system that you use. The Xbox and Playstation both use discs and a disc drive to read game and movie information while the Nintendo switch uses game cartridges. We broke down the most common disc drive issues based on console:

Xbox & Playstation:

Disc drive issues can come in many different forms. There may be abnormal, grinding sounds coming from the drive or the system may not be reading, accepting, or ejecting the discs inserted. If you hear a grinding sound after inserting a disc into the drive, chances are, this sound is due to a loose gear. It won’t scratch your discs, but it does make them impossible for the system to read. If this is an issue you are facing, bring your device to a repair professional so that no additional damage happens to the device. On a Playstation, the grinding could be caused by something loose near the fan. Check to make sure it is clean and free of debris, restart the system and try again. If the system is not reading discs at all, there’s a chance it could be a hardware failure. First, check for any software updates by going to Settings>System> Updates>Update Console. If your console is completely up to date and you’ve already done a restart, you may need to seek the help of a repair professional. If the disc drive is not accepting or ejecting any discs on an Xbox you can unplug the console completely, and then manually eject the disc by sticking a paperclip into the side vent of the console, where pressing a small orange dot will eject any discs stuck inside. If the console is not accepting discs, the issue is hardware related and would need the expertise of a repair professional to repair. On a Playstation, follow these instructions from the manufacturer support page.

Switch: If you are having difficulty getting your Switch to read the game cartridge, remove the game cartridge and make sure it is a genuine Switch game and that it is clean. Place it back into the console and try again. If the problem persists, check for any software updates or contact a repair professional.

Controller Issues

The Xbox and Playstation both have controllers that work completely independently of the console, but the Joycons for the Switch work in tandem with the console. This can lead to unique controller issues that are frustrating, but easily solvable.

Xbox & Playstation:

If your wireless controllers aren’t responding, there are a few troubleshooting techniques to try. First, ensure that the controllers are completely charged and that the charge ports and cables are working properly. Then, update the firmware on the controller (Xbox) or reset the connection between the controller and the console. You can then attempt to connect a different controller to the console to ensure the problem lies solely with the controller. If none of these tips resolves your issue, you may have to use a cable to connect your controller to the console in order to play.

Nintendo Switch:

Users of the Nintendo switch report two recurring issues with their Joycons, disconnecting and drifting. If your Joycons occasionally disconnect, you should first attempt a software update. You can find this by clicking System Settings>System>Update. If the problem persists, you can recalibrate the joycons, under the Controllers and Sensors section of the systems menu. Joycon drifting refers to the responsiveness issue that Joycons can develop over time from wear and tear. Unfortunately, without opening the controller, there is very little that you can do to prevent Joycon drifting other than being aware of how forcefully you use the joystick.

Hard resets to fix common software issues

When faced with any issue with your game console, the first thing any tech-minded person will suggest is a reboot of the console. This powering down and back up again will wipe clean any application or bug that might be causing an issue. If you can’t use the controller or navigate the system to shut down the console normally, a hard reset might be needed.

Xbox: Hold the front power button down for 10 seconds and once the console shuts down, release it. Disconnect the power cable and wait about 10 seconds. Then, reconnect the console and turn it back on.

Playstation: Hold the front power key down for a few seconds, and wait for the console to power off completely.

Switch: Press and hold the power button until the device powers off.

Canon Camera Troubleshooting

You may experience problems with your Canon camera from time to time that doesn't result in any error messages or other easy-to-follow clues as to the problem. Troubleshooting such problems can be a little tricky. Use these tips to give yourself a better chance to have success with your Canon camera troubleshooting techniques.

The Camera Will Not Turn On

A few different issues can cause this problem in a Canon camera. First, make sure the battery is charged and inserted properly. Even if you've had the battery inserted in a charger, it's possible the battery wasn't inserted properly or the charger was not plugged into an outlet properly, meaning the battery did not charge. Make sure the metal terminals on the battery are clean. You can use a dry cloth to remove any grime from the contact points. Finally, if the battery compartment door is not securely closed, the camera will not turn on.

The Lens Will Not Retract Fully

With this problem, you may have inadvertently opened the battery compartment cover while operating the camera. Just close the battery compartment cover securely. Then turn the camera on and off, and the lens should retract. It's also possible that the lens housing has some debris in it that could be causing the lens housing to stick as it retracts. You can clean the housing with a dry cloth when the lens is fully extended. Otherwise, the lens could be damaged, and your PowerShot camera may need to be repaired.

The LCD Will Not Display the Image

Some Canon PowerShot cameras have a DISP button, which may turn the LCD on and off. Press the DISP button to turn on the LCD. This is most common when the Canon PowerShot camera has an electronic viewfinder option for framing photos, along with the LCD screen for framing photos. The live screen may be active with the electronic viewfinder, so pressing the DISP button can switch the live screen back to the LCD screen.

The LCD Screen is Flickering

If you find yourself holding the camera near a fluorescent light, the LCD screen image may flicker. Try moving the camera away from the fluorescent light. The LCD also may appear to flicker if you're attempting to view a scene when shooting in very low light. But if the LCD screen seems to flicker in all types of shooting situations, you may need a repair.

White Dots Are Appearing in My Photos

Most likely, this is caused by the light from the flash reflecting off dust or other particles in the air. Try turning off the flash or wait until the air clears to shoot the photo. It's also possible that the lens could have some spots on it, causing problems with image quality. Make sure that the lens is completely clean. Otherwise, you could be having a problem with your image sensor that's causing the white dots on the photos.

The Image I Saw on the LCD Looks Different Than the Actual Photo

Some Canon point and shoot cameras don't exactly match the LCD image and the actual photo image. LCDs might only display 95% of the image that will be shot, for example. This difference is exaggerated when the subject is close to the lens. Look through the specification list for your Canon PowerShot camera to see if a percentage of scene coverage is listed.

I Cannot Make the Camera's Images Display on My TV

Figuring out how to show photos on a TV screen can be tricky. Press the Menu button on the camera, select the Settings tab, and make sure you match the video system settings in the camera with the video system your TV is using. Keep in mind that some PowerShot cameras do not have the ability to display photos on a TV screen, because the camera doesn't have an HDMI output capability or doesn't have an HDMI output port.

Tips That Will Keep You Safe When Buying Gadgets Online

There’s nothing like being able to test and play with electronics at a store, but buying gadgets online has its conveniences too. Every model is at your fingertips without sitting through traffic to browse and buy it. Shopping online also makes it easy to compare prices to find the best deal.

But because buying laptops, tablets, and mobile phones involve thousands of your hard-earned money, you need to be careful about where to buy them.

Here are some tips to stay safe when buying brand new or secondhand gadgets online.

USE TRUSTED WEBSITES

Make your purchases from reputable online shops with reliable customer reviews.

Many phone brands also have online stores where you can score their latest smartphones. Brands that aren’t selling their products online often have a list of accredited resellers on their website.

Avoid dealing with websites that you feel you can’t trust. Always double check the contact details they provide, including their physical address, phone number, and email address. Also, check their privacy statement to know if they give your information to third parties.

MAKE SURE THE WEBSITE IS SAFE

Genuine e-commerce sites are encrypted with secure sockets layer or SSL certificates to make sure that any data you enter won’t be vulnerable to hackers. Companies who want SSL certificates must go through a validation process to secure all data passed from your browser to the website server.

To know if a website is SSL certified, look for the icon of a locked padlock beside the URL in the address bar and the status bar at the bottom of your web browser. Clicking the lock icon should open a pop-up window that displays information about the SSL certificate. The URL should also start with “https” rather than “http.”

It’s even better if the site has Extended Validation (EV) certificate, which is shown as a green address bar with a lock icon. It means the company has proven its identity and legitimacy as a business.

Another thing that you have to examine is the domain spelling to make sure that you’re not dealing with a phishing site. Instead of clicking links from an online vendor’s email, type the domain in your browser to ensure that you’re connecting to your intended website.

You should also avoid buying anything using public Wi-Fi networks since these are not encrypted.

CHECK THE WARRANTY

New gadgets should always have a warranty. Ask to see it before buying.

You should have at least a service warranty, which means that you can have your item repaired if you find any defects. There should also be a replacement warranty for a limited time.

Aside from warranty information, you should also check the store’s return policy.

ASK LOTS OF QUESTIONS WHEN BUYING SECONDHAND

Even if you’re looking for secondhand gadgets in established marketplaces like Shopee, OLX, and eBay, you still can’t completely avoid bogus sellers. But you can at least spot some glaring red flags that should signal you to stay away.

First, prices that are too good to be true probably are. To know if the price is right, check out different sellers to see what the usual range is. If the selling price deviates too much from that range, walk away.

Ask the seller a lot of questions. What is his reason for selling? How did he come up with the price? What are the gadget’s defects? Unresponsive sellers should be checked off your list.

OPT FOR MEET-UPS INSTEAD OF DELIVERIES

Having your new smartphone delivered at home may be convenient, but it is still safer to meet up with the seller or pick up your item from a brick and mortar store. This way, you can test your item first and inspect its condition, especially if you’re dealing with secondhand gadgets.

Check for dents and scratches on the screen. Evaluate video playback and sound clarity.  Make sure that the earphone jack and all buttons are working fine. All advertised accessories should be included in the package and work as indicated.

Your device is considered good and working properly once the deal is finalized, so be meticulous in checking its condition.

USE A SECURE PAYMENT METHOD

Major ecommerce sites accept both credit cards and debit cards, and it should be safe to transact with your cards if the site has an SSL certificate.

When buying secondhand, make sure to ask about what payment methods are accepted. Most legit sellers are fine with cash-on-delivery options and are amenable to meet-ups. There are some who also accept payments online via Coins.ph, which is a great option for those who don’t have a bank account.  Just make sure to practice due diligence to make sure you’re getting exactly what you paid for.

Is Your Laptop Working Good? Or Not

Nothing is more frustrating than a laptop that does not work correctly. You invest money in the device and rely on it for work or personal use, so it is a real inconvenience when you have laptop repair problems. Some hardware issues are quite common across laptops, and you may be able to troubleshoot the issue and find a quick fix. Keep reading to learn more about the ten most common laptop repair problems and how to repair them.

Our laptops are some of our most used devices, so we’re always particular that they should be running perfectly all the time. However, there’s no real assurance about that and things can go terribly bad every once in a while. There can be hardware failure or just nasty software issues that render your laptop useless. The first instinct most of us have is to take the laptop to a service centre. Sometimes, it’s the best thing to do, but sometimes there can be a simple fix you can do at home, or least figure out what’s wrong with your laptop. When you have an issue with your laptop, the first things you need to do is diagnose the problem. We’re going look at some of the most common problems people face on their laptops and the reasons behind them, with possible solutions.

1. Your computer does not turn on

You press the power button, and nothing happens. One common laptop problem is a complete failure for the device to turn on, and it can leave you without access to your important files and programs. If the laptop seems like it is dead and does not make any sounds or light up, there are a few possible causes and solutions.

First, make sure your computer is charged. If you believe it has been charged, your AC adapter might have failed. You can test the AC adapter with a voltmeter or test a new adapter. If your AC adapter isn’t to blame, the DC jack may have failed, keeping power from your computer, or the issue is with your motherboard.

2. The screen is blank

If your laptop shows signs that it is on, such as lights or sounds, but the screen remains blank, you are left unable to use your computer. This issue can be particularly frustrating because your machine appears to be functional except for the screen. First, try to unplug your laptop from its power source and remove the battery. Press and hold the power button for about a minute before plugging it back in and restarting your computer. Finally, replace the battery and restart the laptop again.

If that process does not work, you may be experiencing a memory failure. Check that the memory modules are making contact with the slot. It may be necessary to replace the memory modules altogether.

You can also try removing components like your hard drive, modem, or keyboard to determine what is causing the issue. If your screen is still blank after these tests, the motherboard or processer is likely to blame.

3. Laptop turns on and off repeatedly

You may power on your laptop only for it to turn off and on again on its own. The laptop may shut down completely, or you could be left with a flickering display that makes it impossible to see the screen. Start by checking your memory modules or replacing them. If that does not resolve the issue, your motherboard may be to blame.

4. The laptop makes weird noise while running

Most laptops make some noise when they are on, typically the whirl of the device’s fan. However, you may notice your laptop making more unpleasant sounds while it is running. If you notice a grinding noise or a rattling sound, you need to check the cooling fan.

If your laptop is still making noises even if the fan is not spinning, the sound is likely coming from your hard drive; You can back up your important files and data before replacing the hard drive.

5. Laptop shuts down or freezes

Fix Laptop shuts down or freezes Problems
You get on your computer and start working, only for it to freeze a few minutes later or shut down on its own. This frustrating occurrence can lead to lost data and unsaved files, but it will also cause you to worry about the state of your laptop. If your laptop shuts down or freezes, test the bottom. If it is hot or you notice the fan working harder than usual, the issue is likely related to heat. Clean out your fan and heat sink to prevent dust from clogging up and blocking the processor from cooling.

6. The battery does not charge properly

If your laptop does not charge properly or at all, there is a possible easy fix. Adjust your AC adapter plug by moving the cord slightly to alter the position in the power connector. Your laptop may indicate that it is charging again, or you may notice that your adaptor cord is frayed or otherwise damaged. When your battery fails, you will need to replace it.

7. Screen light fails

Dim screens or failing screen lights can cause you to strain your eyes as you attempt to view your laptop screen. If everything else works on your laptop, you may be experiencing a screen inverter or backlight lamp failure. Try replacing these components to repair your screen light failure.

8. The strange or garbled image on the screen

You may notice that the image on your screen is distorted or odd in some way. Whether the image appears warped or the colors are off; it can be difficult to accomplish tasks on your laptop. Try using your laptop with an external monitor. If the image appears strange on the screen, your graphics card is to blame. If the problem is limited to your laptop screen, you can have an issue with your motherboard, video cable, or display.

9. Keyboard keys stopped working

Fix Keyboard keys Problems
Have you ever been typing only to realize that several letters are missing or keyboard keys bring up the wrong characters? Sticking keys could be the problem, so you should try removing the keycaps and carefully cleaning beneath them. If this does not resolve the issue, your keyboard may need to be replaced.

10. Repetitive beep sound on starting

When you power on your laptop, you expect the typical startup noises. If you are met with repetitive beeping sounds and a blank screen, try pressing your keyboard. Sometimes a stuck key can cause issues on startup, but it is usually an easy fix.

Mobile Phone Problems & Their Solutions

 IS YOUR PHONE WORKING CORRECTLY?

Technology is not always perfect, so you can experience different problems that you can solve by yourself. Cell phones may present faults some times and we know it can be a very stressful situation. That is why we decided to make a top 10 of the most common mobile phone problems and their solutions, so you can solve them without losing your head –and your money-.

Of course, there are several troubles that are a bit more difficult to solve if you are not a technology expert. If you cannot do it by yourself, we recommend you to take your mobile phone to an authorized service technician and hopefully, they will help you. So, we invite you to come with us and discover things that maybe you did not know about your cell phone.

1. Slow Phone

This is something that everybody has experienced at least once. It is the most common mobile phone issue and it can be associated with old phones. However, newer devices can present the same problem. When your Random-Access Memory (RAM) is full of apps and files that you do not use or need, your phone tends to respond slowly.

The Solution: Clean your cell phone and close/delete apps, files and clear the cache data. If you recently installed an app and your phone is not working well, you should uninstall it and see if your mobile phone runs faster. If this does not help you, you can also try saving important information on Google Drive, Dropbox or just on your computer. Then, you can restore your cell phone to factory data.

2Overheating Phone

This usual problem can be related to the previous one. An overheating phone is sometimes related to problems with your phone battery. But, it can also be related to your charger and also with the place you normally have your phone. If you are experiencing this, you should solve it soon because your battery and your phone screen can be seriously damaged.

Possible Solutions: You should try the previous possible solutions first to see if this problem is directly related to your battery issue. If it keeps overheating, try to carry your phone in a fresh place and keep it away from the sun’s heat. You can also give your phone some minutes to “refresh” and start using it again.

3. Full Storage Space

Maybe you are the kind of person that saves too many photos, songs, documents and some other files and although you do not need them anymore, you do not delete them. Sometimes those files are so old that you forget you have them stored in your cell phone. Unnecessary apps also occupy important storage space that can be used for other matters.

The Solution: This fourth common mobile problem can be related to the first we already mentioned before. When you have filled up your storage space, your cell phone tends to respond slowly. So, the possible solutions for this problem are the same: try to delete those files and apps that you do not use anymore, you can also delete old calls and text messages and clean the cache data. Try to transfer those files you would like to keep with you on an online cloud or buy a microSD card to save that valuable information in a safe place.

4. App Crashes/Freezes

This problem happens a lot and, although it is a very annoying thing, it is not so difficult to solve. Although it should not be a common thing, the truth is that apps sometimes present this issue and can be related to bugs on the app or maybe your operating system is not the best or the newest for those apps. There are apps that are constantly adding new options and improving some details for better performance, but sometimes your phone just cannot support the latest version and that app starts crashing all the time.

The Solution: The first thing you should try is to restart your cell phone and start using the app again. You can also go to the App Manager and stop the app, sometimes cleaning the cache data also works. If it continues doing the same, try to uninstall the app and install it again. As it was mentioned before, sometimes the app has a lot of bugs that cause this problem.

5. Wet Cell Phone

Do not feel bad if you dropped your mobile phone and now it is wet. This happens a lot and most of the time it can be solved.

The Solution: The first this you should NOT do is to turn ON your device. It can be just the worst thing to do. Remove the battery and put the cell phone in a bowl full of rice. It will help to absorb the moisture. Now, take it to a service workshop and let them fix it.

6. Google Play Store Does Not Download Apps

This is something frequently experienced by Android users. People tend to panic and think there is nothing they can do and they will not be able to download anything again. Relax, we have 2 ways to fix this.

The Solution: The first option –and the most recognized- is to clean the Google Play cache. How can you do it? Go to Settings – Apps – Open Google Play Store – Clean Cache – Restart your phone. The second way to solve this problem is to clean the Google Play Store history. This is more simple than the first solution. First, you need to Open Google Play Store – Settings – Choose Clean History.

7. Google Play Store Crashes

We know how annoying is that you try to look for an app and Google Play crashes all the time. This happens a lot and must of the time is because of a corrupt cache. It should be solved with similar steps mentioned before.

The Solution: Although some menus vary, most Androids have the same options. So, you just need to go Settings – Apps – Open Google Play Store – Clean Cache and Data – Restart your phone. This should fix the crashing problem. But if it does not work, try doing the same with Google Play Services and Google Services Framework.

8. Connectivity Issues

Sometimes the connection through Bluetooth or WiFi can be a little bit difficult. This is one of the most common problems among Androids that can be solved just with a couple of simple steps.

The Solution: We recommend you to enable the airplane mode for at least 1 minute. Then, try to connect again. Occasionally, you can turn OFF and ON the connection that is failing and then try to connect it again.

9. Synchronization Failures

Sometimes you are trying to sync your account to a specific app but it seems just impossible to do it. Sometimes the app does not show you what the problem is, so you are not sure what you should do. When you have synchronization failures there are a few steps that you must follow.

The Solution: First of all, make sure that you are connected to the internet. You also need to check if the services that are you trying to sync (just like Google or Dropbox) is working as well. Another thing that you should do is to verify your password, check if it is correct and try again. If any of this works, remove entirely your account from your device and add it again.

10. Unsent Messages

Sometimes happens that you are texting someone and then the screen show “Message not sent, touch to retry”. You try over and over again to send the same message but it shows the same annoying alert.

The Solution: The first thing you must do is to make sure that you are connected to a WiFi network or that your mobile network is working correctly. Then, click on the message that was not sent and select the resend option. This should be enough, but if you still have the same issue, try to restart your phone or try downloading another message service app.
